Ms. Burns, San Francisco-based Managing Director and Co-Founder, leads the firm's West Coast recruiting effort. With over fifteen years of financial services search experience, she has advised major investment banks and specialist firms in recruiting critical hires. Ms. Burns has completed senior level assignments in M&A and all major industry IB segments including Technology, Media, Telecom, Energy & Power, Industrials, and Financial Institutions. She has also successfully led equity research assignments on behalf of the firm.

Prior to her search career, Ms. Burns had a successful sales career at R.R. Donnelley & Sons. Ms. Burns co-authored, with Seth Godin, the book If You're Clueless about Getting a Great Job and Want to Know More (Dearborn Financial Publishing, 1998).

Ms. Burns received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an M.A. in Psychology from New York University.
