Jill Niemczyk, Managing Director, joined in May 2012 from Credit Suisse, where she headed the firm’s experienced recruiting efforts globally for the Investment Bank and in the Americas across all businesses and functions, including Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Banking, Finance, Audit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources. She previously had held a similar role at Merrill Lynch, where she built a recruiting function for the Investment Bank focused on direct sourcing and on executing key strategic hires across Equities and Fixed Income, Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity. Prior to joining Merrill in 2006, Ms. Niemczyk had had a ten-year career in Wall Street executive search with firms such as Spencer Stuart, Sextant Search Partners (where she had been a co-founder), and Highland Search Group. During her search career Ms. Niemczyk has worked with top-tier boutiques and bulge-bracket firms on new business entries and team lifts.

Prior to her career in executive search, Ms. Niemczyk ran an independent consulting practice as part of the HayGroup providing outplacement consulting to major law firms.

Ms. Niemczyk graduated from Columbia College with her A.B. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in the College’s first graduating class of women. She holds her M.A. and M.Phil. from Columbia University, where she also conducted doctoral study in English Literature.
