Ms. Kang, Managing Director, is a Co-Founder of Choi & Burns. She has over 14 years of experience in executive search. She works with the firm's key clients in managing and executing strategic assignments in Investment Banking, Equity Research, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. She has completed senior level searches across sectors. She has helped key clients build out efforts in the following areas: Tech Investment Banking with senior and mid-level hires in sectors that include Software, Semis, Comm Equipment, Electronic Manufacturing Services, and IT Services; Consumer and Retail Investment Banking at MD to VP levels, Power IB, Energy IB, FIG, M&A, Exclusive Sales, and Middle Market coverage. She also was responsible for building out a Business Services IB Team for one of the leading US banks.

In addition to her investment banking track record, Ms.Kang has completed assignments in PE and VC. Selected assignments include helping to build out the next generation investment team for a private equity firm as well as leading the recruitment for a venture capital firm in establishing its West Coast team at all levels.

ln addition to her recruitment activities, Ms. Kang is responsible for running the firm's New York office. She also manages the firm's competitive research products through analysis of industry trends and compensation studies.

Ms. Kang began her search career with a specialist search firm focused on key areas of the emerging markets. She conducted searches at all levels in the areas of Equity Research, Strategy, Sales and Trading, and Economics.

Ms. Kang is a graduate of Tufts University, where she earned her B.A. in Economics.
